Privacy policy

We respect the privacy of everyone who visits our website. This page explains what information the site collects, what it's used for, and how to contact us about it.

Information about how the site is used

The site uses Google Analytics, a Google service, to understand in general terms how it is used — for example, how many people visited, which pages, and from what kind of device. The information is collected using cookies and is shown to us as general statistics that don't identify you personally. We use it to improve the site and to measure how well our Google advertising works.

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, or install Google's opt-out add-on for Google Analytics. The site works normally without cookies.

Contacting us

The contact form on the site is a Google Forms form. The details you fill in — and any details you send us by email — reach us and are used only to handle your enquiry and get back to you.

Donations

Credit card donations are made through JGive. Payment details go directly to JGive and are not stored by us. Their use is subject to JGive's privacy policy. When donating, you can choose whether to share your details with us: if you do, we'll send you updates on our work; if you don't, you won't be added to our mailing lists.

Other external services

To display some of its content, the site relies on external services — such as the EqualWeb accessibility tool and code libraries that draw the activity map. These services may receive basic technical information, such as your IP address and browser type, as happens whenever you browse the web.

Protecting your information

We don't sell personal information or pass it on to others, except for the services listed here and where required by law. Anyone who has given us their details may ask to see, correct or delete them.
