Oded is an educator with 20 years’ experience who established the NOCHACH ("Giving as a Way of Life") non-profit organization in 2007 and established the organization’s programs - SAHI, Hoshen, Shoham and more. out of the realization that "Giving connects us to who we really are".

He is currently acting as Nochah’s educational director.

Avraham is a social entrepreneur who established the SAHI program together with Oded in 2009 and led the first group for 5 years. As the organization’s CEO, Avraham creates collaborations with numerous donors and partners while maintaining constant contact with the teams in the field and with our youth.

Deputy Director

Formerly a high-tech executive, Anat joined the team officially after 10 years as a volunteer. Mainly deals with everything that happens behind the scenes.

"SAHI allows choosing Good, for every person involved. This lesson is shared by the teenagers and the staff. It is a great privilege for me to take part in creating a social change"

Ronen Cohen

Ronen Cohen

Content and Training Coordinator

Ronen has been working with at-risk youth for the past 14 years in both formal and informal projects. He has a Master’s degree in Philosophy of Education. In his position as Content and Training Coordinator, he accompanies the staff, develops content, teaches individual and group workshops for the Chiefs and is responsible for managing knowledge, documentation and research.

“For me, the creation of communities of giving is the loftiest goal one can aspire to and I am grateful for having had the privilege of taking part in an organization that has it as a goal”.

Certified teacher, MA and Phd student in philosophy and history of the Jewish people. Over 30 years' experience in the field of education management in Israel and abroad.

Jerusalem Region Manager

Ori was Jerusalem’s first Chief. A resident of the city, he is married and has four children. Ori is the Coordinator for the Jerusalem region, helping to train all the Chiefs and supporting them logistically. He lives and breathes SAHI, encouraged by his wife and children in his infinite work on behalf of the organization.

Ohad is the Chief of the Kiryat Malakhi Unit. He is married and a father of four. He loves what he is doing, he loves people and he loves doing good for others.

Originally from Jerusalem, an expert gardener and trimmer. Served as a Chief for 3 years in one of Jerusalem's elite SAHI units, prior to being appointed as manager of the central region.

South Region Coordinator

Married and a mother of five, holds a bachelor's degree in creative culture and production, a master's degree in social studies and education. Engaged in education and social fields. Active in Nochah since the beginning as a volunteer, chief and now part of the national staff.

Head of Research

Holds a Master’s degree in Sociology and is a candidate for doctoral studies in the field. Has experience in educational and social research at various research institutes and at Bar-Ilan University, as well as at RAMA – the National Authority for Measurement and Evaluation in Education. Since 2020, she has been managing the research at SAHI.

"In my role I was exposed to the world of youth and fell in love with the program. Today I also volunteer as a Chief in a group of inspiring teenagers, who in my eyes are doing the greatest thing in the world. For me, SAHI is not just a program – it is a way of life."

Volunteers Manager

Bachelor's degree in education and literature. Active in the fields of education, training and project management in the social sector. Loves people and a strong believer in the power of community and the power of people to lead social change.
